XC SEASONS TRAINING SCHEDULE
Spring:  (Mid-May to the end of school)
Spring xc training starts a week after track season ends.
After your 1 week off, we will be easing into xc by running a minimum of 4x per week for the
first few weeks & then bump it up to 5x per week.
The goal is to maintain a minimal fitness base & take a mental break from the intensity of track season.
The schedule is as follows: *SUBJECT TO CHANGES AS SPECIFIED BY COACH!
Monday (ending ~3:15) Tuesday (ending ~2:40) Wednesday (ending ~3:15) Thursday (ending ~3:15) Friday (ending ~2:40) Saturday
Beach, Bixby or Aquarium Up-Tempo Run Run on track 3 EZ miles, Basketball, Ultimate Frisbee or any other ACTIVITY!  YOU MUST SUIT UP & DO SOMETHING! Hill Run Road run Run on track 3 EZ miles, Basketball, Ultimate Frisbee or any other ACTIVITY!  YOU MUST SUIT UP & DO SOMETHING! Long Run!
Run w/ a teammate
or on own! Work up to 60+ minutes by beginning of summer.

Summer:  (End of school until the beginning of school)
The summer training will start with 4-5 days per week & build up to six days per week.
The goal is to build a substantial base (lots of miles) to prepare for the rigors of the fall racing season.

Fall (XC Season): (The beginning of school until early November for most....varsity may still compete through Thanksgiving...hopefully)
The fall will increase the intesity, building off of our massive summer base.
The goal is to race at each runners full potential by the end of the season.
The schedule is a typical week (The fall schedule is subject to changes due to races, etc...):
